Say hello to Lisa!👋 Our fantastic HR Manager Lisa has been with us over 3 and a half years and has become an integral part of Brammibal’s journey.

Her team put it best: ‘The team would not be the same without Lisa D. She’s our anchor and such a great manager, she knows so much about the company since she started her path at Brammibal’s in one of our shops. She cares so much about all people and if you have a question she’s ready to explain everything to you in-depth (even though she probably has thousand other things on her to-do list! ).

How long have you been working at Brammibal’s?
Since February 2020.

How do you start your day?
With a trip to my coffee machine at home.

What does a typical day look like for you?
I usually start my day in the office with my second coffee of the day. We have our stand up meeting with the office team to keep each other up to date and then I usually have at least one more meeting. Depending on the weekday I have a meeting with Bram and Jess, or with my fantastic HR Team or with our Hamburg GM Tobi or in the Berlin bakery or our workers council. I get asked many questions every day and do my best to support everyone with the advise they need, I fill in forms, look at and pass on KPI’s and work on different projects like happiness surveys, feedback surveys, guidelines, health and safety info for the teams etc.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I really like to work together with all our teams: my HR team but also our Shop Managers and Bakery Managers in Berlin and Hamburg, our Operations Team. It is a real joy to work with such great people!

What is the most challenging thing about your job?
To come up with guidelines and processes that work for everyone. We have many different people that work in a lot of different jobs in very different environments. Finding a compromise is not always easy.
