Can I place a pre-order for your location at KaDeWe?

Unfortunately we cannot offer the option to pre-order at our KaDeWe location. If you’re planning on buying a bigger amount of donuts, we suggest pre-ordering at another location.

Why are you sold out of donuts before closing time sometimes?

Since we make all our donuts fresh by hand every day, we have to plan a day in advance how many donuts we’re probably going to sell the next – this is based on our average sales, the amount of pre-orders as well as the weather. Sometimes we guess wrong and we end up with lots of leftover donuts at the end of a day, or we sell out a bit early. If you’d like to avoid missing out on donuts, simply place a pre-order through our website and we’ll put your donuts aside for you!

What kind of chocolate do you use in your donuts?

We only use organic certified & ethically sourced vegan chocolate by Rapunzel. You can read more about their standards here.

Do you have gluten free donuts?

Unfortunately it’s not possible for us to offer gluten free yeast raised fried donuts at the moment. We do offer a flourless baked choc cake donut, it contains traces of gluten, though.

What makes your donuts special?

All our donuts are handmade fresh every day in our own bakery. The traditional way of making donuts is very time- and labor intensive. We’re proud to say we make as much as possible from scratch: our dough, all our glazes, fillings as well as all our different toppings We do not use artificial food coloring or preservatives, which means our donuts need to be eaten on the same day they were purchased.

Do you have nut free donuts?

All our donuts are made in the same bakery, so we can’t rule out cross contamination. If you have severe nut allergies we would strongly advise you to not eat our donuts.

Do you do deliveries?

If you’d like to get donuts delivered, you can use the pre-order function on our website and choose delivery instead of pick up (if you’re in our delivery radius)!

Since our donuts are only good for a day, we do not send our donuts via mail – they simply would taste terrible when they arrive.

Do you do custom donuts?

Sure! For catering inquiries or special wishes, please send us an e-mail and we can work something out.

Why is your coffee more expensive than in regular cafes?

Our single origin coffee is ethically sourced through the Collaborative Coffee Source and roasted by our neighbours Populus Coffee. For us, it is important that the farmers who grow and harvest the coffee beans get a fair payment for all their hard work. Besides that we only use plant based milks which work well with coffee. These are between 1,5 and 2 times more expensive than premium dairy.

Can I bring my own packaging for take away donuts?

Yes, we love when people bring their own tupperware and encourage all our customers to be more thoughtful about the waste that comes with take away orders. Since we do get a lot of take away requests, we feel the least we can do is buy packaging and to go cups which are made from recycled material and are biodegradable.

Are your donuts sugar free?

No. We use raw cane sugar for our dough and most of our glazes are based on powdered sugar.

How long can I keep your donuts?

We always advise to eat our donuts as fresh as possible or throughout the day you’ve purchased them, because we do not use any preservatives or dough conditioners like other donut chains. Simply put: our donuts won’t taste great after a day.

Do you take cards?

Yes! Our card reader accepts most cards.

Are your locations accessible for wheelchairs?

Yes, all our locations are wheelchair accessible. Our KaDeWe & Potsdamer Platz locations also have wheelchair accessible toilets.
